Producer Sajid Nadiadwala, who was to release his much-awaited Ranbir Kapoor-Priyanka Chopra-starrer Anjaana Anjaani on September 24, has now postponed it to October 1. The reason being that September 24 is the day the Allahabad High Court’s verdict on the Ayodhya-Babri Masjid issue would be announced. Said Nadiadwala, “At first I was in a position to go ahead with the slated date of release. But there is no denying that the Ayodhya-Babri Masjid issue is bigger and needs to be respected. Ranbir had discussed the issue with me and Eros, which is presenting the film, and we gave it some thought. Ranbir is a youth icon and and his point was valid. So after discussions, we decided to postpone the film to October 1. It is a happy film and releasing it on a later date is apt.”
Mohanlal in Priyadarshan’s Tezz There seems to be shifting in the cast of Priyadarshan’s Tezz, (earlier titled Bullet Train). The action thriller earlier had Anil Kapoor, Ajay Devgn Suniel Shetty, Tusshar Kapoor, Kangna Ranaut and Sameera Reddy. But Tushar opted out of the film citing date problems and then it was Suniel Shetty who walked out because of the same reason. Now Zayed Khan has replaced Tusshar and South star Mohanlal who has taken Suniel’s place. The team will head for Birmingham in the UK in the first week of October where they will be stationed for 60 days
